My wastemaid 465 garbage disposal makes a humming sound. I am unable to find my owner’s manual. Do you have a link for troubleshooting this type of issue?
Thank you for your purchase of our Waste Maid disposer. A humming sound may indicate the food waste disposer is jammed. Please note the link below on our FAQ’s for the disposer. Please follow the de-jamming instructions under “What if my Disposer Jams” and contact us if this does not resolve the issue.
The disposal is good but did you really have to host the manual online using some service that forces me to read it here instead of downloading a PDF that can more easily be read on most every gadget type, with or without internet access?

I see that the EL10 has a built in air switch option. What exactly does that mean? Does the switch attach directly to the disposal unit? What additional parts do I need?
The disposers offered with built-in air switch are special order items not presently in our inventory.
Built in means the air switch is installed during production of the disposer and comes ready to use; one only needs to install the on/off button on the countertop.

Is there a warranty for the Eco Logic EL-4 – 3B Builders Food Waste Disposer
Do your disposal’s have hole for a dishwasher to drain into them?
Yes, All of our models do.
Our Eco Logic-10 disposer does not seem to have a switch to turn it off but instead we’ll have to plug it into the power points to use and out to stop it.
I am wondering if the disposer was designated without the actual switch with the purpose of requiring me to plug in to use instead of keeping it ready to be used with a switch on the machine?
The disposer is powered on and off by the wall switch in your kitchen. There should be an outlet under your sink, near the disposer that is powered by the switch on the wall. We are not sure what your exact disposer installation configuration is, so please call customer service if you need further assistance.
Hello ours sounds like it is jammed but we have tried to reset and can move the pieces on the inside. Any ideas on what else to try?
